Open roles
Residential Garage Door Service Technician
The person in the driveway: figuring out what's wrong with a door, explaining the options plainly, and fixing it on the spot. You run the whole call yourself, and we train you from scratch — no garage door experience needed to start.
Office Manager
The operational hub of the shop: the front office, technician scheduling and dispatch in our field-service CRM, customers on the phone and by e-mail, and the job, billing and administrative records behind them.
Who we are
Go Garage Doors is a garage door company in Raleigh, run by operators who have spent over a decade in the industry. We handle repairs, new doors and openers across the Triangle from our shop on Sumner Boulevard.
We hire employees, not subcontractors. Technicians drive marked company vans on the company gas card, with tools and hands-on training paid for, and everyone gets a 401(k) with a company match from their first day.
We give the customer an exact price before the work starts, and we don't charge to show up. That only works if the person in the driveway calls it straight, so that's what we hire for: diagnose it honestly, fix what's broken, and be willing to tell someone their door is fine.
What we offer
Office and administrative roles: flexible ("unlimited") paid time off after a 30-day waiting period, and six paid holidays.
Field roles (technicians, door designers and installers): a company vehicle, gas card and tools, paid hands-on training, accrued paid time off starting at five days a year, and three paid holidays.
Everyone: a 401(k) through Human Interest, eligible from your first day, with a safe-harbor company match worth up to 3.5% of your pay. The match vests after one year.
