What we collect
When you call, text or book service, we collect the contact and address information needed to schedule and perform the work: your name, phone number, email address, service address, and details about your garage door. Our website itself does not require accounts and does not collect payment information.
Booking online. Our online scheduler is provided by ServiceTitan, our field-service platform. It asks for your name, phone number, email address and service address and sends them to ServiceTitan to create your appointment. We use your email address for confirmations and messages about that booking.
Door showroom shortlist. If you send us a shortlist from our door showroom, we receive your name, phone number, ZIP code, any notes you add and the doors you chose, so our team can follow up about them. Shortlists are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this website, for 90 days, and may be passed to ServiceTitan so a door designer can contact you.
Chat assistant
The chat window on some pages of this site is an AI assistant, not a person. It answers questions about our services, checks whether a ZIP code is in our service area and helps you start a booking. It will tell you it is an AI if you ask, and you can reach a person any time at (844) 572-3667.
What it receives. The messages you type, any photos you attach, the page you were on, and campaign tags already in the page address. The chat never needs payment details, so please don't type them in. If you go on to book, the scheduling window is ServiceTitan's and is covered by "Booking online" above.
Who processes it. Your messages and photos are sent to Anthropic, which provides the AI model, to write each reply. The chat runs on Cloudflare, which also checks that a person, not a bot, is using it. Under their terms with us, neither uses your messages to train AI models, and we don't either.
What we keep. We do not store the text of your conversation. Your browser keeps it only for the current visit, so the chat can pick up where you left off, and drops it when you close the tab. We keep a short record of each reply, such as the topic, how urgent it was and which button we offered, with phone numbers and email addresses removed, for 30 days, then delete it. If you rate a reply and add a note, the note is kept the same way.
Prices. A price the assistant gives is a typical range or a typical price for budgeting, the same figures published on this website. It is not a quote: you get an exact price before any work starts.
Your choices. You don't have to use the chat; booking online and calling work without it. To ask about or delete a chat record, email [email protected].
How we use it
To schedule visits, perform and warranty our work, send appointment communications, and, only if you opt in, request feedback or reviews. We do not sell your personal information.
Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate: pages viewed, the site or ad that referred you, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and actions such as tapping a phone number or opening the scheduler. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to recognize a returning browser. It does not identify you to us. Our Google tag is set to detect contact details typed into forms on this site, such as a phone number or email address, and Google uses them in hashed form (turned into a one-way code) to measure our analytics and advertising more accurately. We cannot see those details in Google Analytics. You can block it with Google's opt-out browser add-on or your browser's cookie settings.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and measures how fast pages load without setting cookies or storing an identifier on your device.
Advertising
We advertise on Google. Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies to show our ads to people who have visited this website, on other sites across the internet, and to tell us when an ad led to a call or booking. You can turn off personalized ads from Google in My Ad Center, and from many other advertising companies at optout.aboutads.info.
Call tracking
To see which ads and listings bring us calls, some of them carry a tracking phone number instead of our main line, and this website may show you one when you arrive from an ad or listing. Calls to a tracking number reach us just the same. When this website shows a tracking number, our field-service platform receives the page you landed on, the site that sent you, any campaign tags in the link, and the analytics cookie ID if one is set, so that a call or booking can be credited to its source. Calls to our numbers may be recorded for quality and training.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example, ServiceTitan, our field-service and scheduling platform, Cloudflare, which hosts this website, and Anthropic, which provides the AI model behind our chat assistant), and when required by law. We never sell customer lists.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you text us, or ask us to text you when scheduling, Go Garage Doors Raleigh LLC may send you text messages about your service: appointment confirmations, arrival windows, technician-on-the-way notices, and follow-up about work we performed.
SMS consent is not shared with third parties. We do not share, sell or transfer your mobile number or your consent to receive text messages to any third party or affiliate for their own marketing. The only parties that ever see your number are the service providers who deliver the messages for us and the scheduling platform that runs our service calls, and they may use it only to provide that service to us.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Full details are in our SMS terms.
