Carriage House

Heritage Carriage House garage doors

Heavier-gauge steel is the point of Heritage Carriage House, a low-maintenance door in 3 carriage panel designs.

Heritage Bead Board garage door in True White on a home

Heritage Carriage House puts the Heritage door's heavier-gauge steel behind carriage house styling. The steel is the difference: a heavier gauge, finished in a 5-layer paint system, on a door built to need little upkeep. A steel carriage door also skips the seasonal refinishing a wood door asks for, which is the low-maintenance case the line rests on.

Construction is single-, double- or triple-layer, so the choice runs from a plain steel skin to an insulated, steel-backed section. Insulation is optional 2 inch polystyrene, and insulated doors reach R-values of 6.64 to 9.05. WindPro wind-load reinforcement is available for sites under a high-wind code, and Quiet Door is a listed feature.

The panels are Bead Board, Long Bead Board and Recessed, 3 carriage faces that suit a farmhouse, a ranch or a brick colonial. The window list is long, with Cathedral, Cascade, Waterford, Wagon Wheel, Thames, Moonlite, Victorian, Heartland and Mission among the patterns, plus closed sections. Finishes number 10, from True White and Wicker Tan through Terratone and Dark Brown to Mahogany.
